Advanced Auto Parts Coming to Town

Opening March 5, Branford will play host to Advance Auto Parts, Inc. at 845 West Main St., Suite H. Advance Auto Parts will feature automotive aftermarket parts, batteries, accessories and maintenance items. 

In a press release, "company officials said they chose this location for the store because it’s convenient to where their customers live and shop as well as the garages where they take their vehicles for repair."

The press release stated that Theresa Franklin is the new General Manager for the shop and will be working with nine other team members at the new space. She is a 24-year veteran of the automotive and retail sales industries and has been employed by Advanced Auto Parts for four years.

"The new store offers customers a wide range of parts and recognized national brands as well as several free services. Store team members will install windshield wipers for free and also install batteries following a complimentary check of the vehicle’s electrical system and old battery," according to the press release.

Customers can also drop off used motor oil and batteries for recycling.

The store is open Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Other area stores are located at 451 Foxon Boulevard #471 in East Haven, and at 343 Washington Avenue in North Haven.
