30-Home Development Proposed For Branford's Gould Lane

The development is being proposed by Joe and Carmine Capasso.

Developers Joe and Carmine Capasso, a father-and-son team, have submitted a plan to the Town of Branford to turn 47 Gould Lane into 30 upscale homes.

The proposal would include 21 lots of single-family homes and a separate cluster of nine single-family homes that would form a condominium association, according to The Branford Eagle. The property is 25 acres.

The proposal is currently being reviewed by the Branford Inland and Wetland Commission. Several neighbors worried that the development would lead to more water running onto their property, but the Capassos assured them that wouldn't be the case, according to The Eagle.
