Police Still Looking for Meadow Circle Burglary Suspect

The department is asking residents to be aware of a recent rash of home break-ins and to call in to report any suspicious activity.

As of today, Captain Geoffrey Morgan said there have been  on Meadow Circle Road off of Windmill Hill Road and one attempted break-in. A possible suspect is believed to be a white male, thin build, wearing a dark colored tank top. He was last seen Wednesday, Sept. 5 around noon in the area of 28 Meadow Circle Rd.

“Our hypothesis,” said Morgan, is that it might be someone who is comfortable with the area.”

So far, no burglaries have occurred when a resident was home, but Morgan said several of the victims came home during the incidents, which scared the suspect or suspects off. At this point, Morgan said the department is unsure if there’s more than one suspect but they feel confident that the same person or people has committed all the burglaries in the area.
