Shoveling mounds of snow is hard work, even dangerous if done too quickly. We need to pray for those who are out clearing the roads and highways so the rest of us can get back to "normal".
Even so, the beauty of a blizzard resides in its power to force many of us to stop and consider the grandeur all around us. Indeed, our community has been decorated, and it's good to receive permission to get out of the daily grind, and see what we might otherwise pass by.
