First Responders

Celebrating our Finest.

The the new was an inspiring event, mainly because it occasioned due appreciation for those men and women in uniform who are the critical component when crisis occurs.

As it happens, I was a chaplain serving at Ground Zero for 9 months after 9/11.  I was also a chaplain involved in recovery immediately following Katrina.

The primary difference between New York and New Orleans?  The first responders.

Here in Branford we are blessed in having some of the very best.

Bill, thank you for your kind words and for your service as chaplain at Ground Zero and in the aftermath of Katrina. Glad you made it to the open house. Very moving video to watch. Ronald R. Mullen Deputy Chief Branford Fire Department

Hey Ron, thanks. The opening was more about supporting people than merely celebrating a new facility, and thus, the spirit pervading the whole event was excellent.
