Volunteers Needed for Branford Holiday Paper Recycling Program

As you may have heard, a local 15 year old student, Etta Hanlon is doing her part to save our planet earth during this holiday season. Etta was struck by the amount of gift wrap that was tossed away each Christmas and gained support from the Town of Branford to begin the Branford Holiday Paper Recycling Program. But we need help with this effort!

In record time 4,000 bags arrived and now they need to be stickered and folded. They will be then distributed to schools and the community.
Join the team on either of the following nights!  This is a great project for kids and other community volunteers!

Please bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Branford Food Bank.

Wednesday evening December 18th from 6:30-8pm at the Community House's Activity Room at 46 Church Street
