Rocky Anderson, 2012 Presidential Candidate, is scheduled to speak at the Winchester Restaurant & Bar in Woodbridge, Connecticut on Wednesday, August 22nd, at 7 PM. It is an open event and all are invited to come and listen to Rocky speak about how we cannot afford to waste another election voting for million dollar candidates who serve the 1%!
For those of you unfamiliar with Rocky Anderson, he was the Mayor of Salt Lake City from 2000 through 2008 as well as a Constitutional attorney and civil rights lawyer. In 2011 he left the Democratic Party out of disgust, believing that the majority of Democrats have also become bought and paid for, like the Republicans, by the wealthy interests of our nation:
“The Constitution has been eviscerated while Democrats have stood by with nary a whimper. It is a gutless, unprincipled party, bought and paid for by the same interests that buy and pay for the Republican Party.”

Rocky Anderson believes that the voters have a very significant choice to make in the upcoming election this November: voters can continue to vote for Corporate America and the 1% (one party just has a slightly more liberal face than the other) or they can vote for a candidate who wishes to return our country to a true democracy, based on our Constitution and the beliefs of Jefferson, Adams, Madison, et al.
Rocky Anderson also believes that he can win this election if people decide that they have had enough with our two-party duopoly controlled by the wealthy and vote for canidates who are not bought and paid for by Corporate America.
