Branford, CT – The Branford Early Childhood Collaborative (BECC) and the Branford Town Center Merchants will celebrate the national Week of the Young Child (April 10-16th) by co-sponsoring an early childhood art show featuring the work of children enrolled in Branford preschools and child care centers.
Participating Branford Town Center Merchants will offer their windows to exhibit the children’s art from April 3 thru April 17, 2011. The event will culminate in a Community Art Walk on April 14, 2011 from 4-6 PM. First Selectman Unk DaRoss, Board of Education Chair Frank Carrano and other community leaders will attend the Art Walk and will be available for comment about Branford’s early childhood community planning initiative. Ashley’s Ice Cream will offer free scoops of ice cream during this event and Arabella's will be giving out free Silly Bands to children.
