Your Input Sought on Public Transportation

The Connecticut Public Transportation Commission schedules meetings to gather input.

Is public transportation meeting the your needs? What improvements need to be made?

Your chance to voice your opinions will take place at 7:30 p.m. on May 26, when the Connecticut Public Transportation Commission hosts a public hearing. The meeting will take place in the Harriett North Room on the second floor of West Haven City Hall, 355 Main St.

This will be one of four hearings that the commission will hold statewide this spring to gather testimony from the public, transportation providers, public officials and other entities concerning the operation of public transportation services including CT Transit, Milford Transit District and Greater Bridgeport Transit bus service, Metro-North train service, dial-a-ride and ADA transportation and other issues. The commission seeks public comment on the extent to which existing services are meeting public needs and on improvements or new services to address unmet travel needs.
