Weekend Weather: Start With Sun Before Rain Moves In

The first half of the weekend is looking very nice. Meanwhile, a strong low pressure system will bring plenty of moisture into our area during the overnight hours Sunday night and into Monday. Some minor flooding is possible…

Today: Plenty of sunshine, seasonable. Highs in the low-80s. Overnight lows will be comfortable in the upper-50s.

Saturday: Mostly sunny in the morning, becoming partly to mostly cloudy by the late afternoon hours. Daytime highs in the low-80s. Overnight lows in the upper-60s.

Sunday: Clouds with rain developing during the afternoon hours. Highs near 80 degrees. Rain may be heavy at times during the overnight hours. A rumble of thunder is not out of the question. One to two inches of rain expected. Some minor flooding is possible.

Monday: Some lingering rain showers, primarily in the morning. Look for a few breaks of sunshine by the late afternoon. Highs in the low-80s. Overnight lows in the upper-60s.

Tuesday: Partly sunny and seasonable. Highs near 80 degrees. Overnight lows in the low-60s.
