Weekend Weather: A Soggy Saturday Gives Way to a Partial Sunny Sunday

A low pressure system currently over the central Mid-West will head our way giving us some moderate to heavy rain during the overnight hours Saturday, into Sunday.

For the most part, Saturday will be dry. Precipitation is likely to start during the late evening hours and be its heaviest overnight. Some minor localized flooding may be a concern.

Today: Partly to mostly cloudy. Daytime highs will be some 5 degrees below normal, in the upper-70s. Overnight lows in the upper-60s.

Saturday: Generally cloudy with rain developing towards the late evening. Expect humid conditions with highs in the upper-70s. Rain may be heavy at times overnight. A rumble of thunder is not out of the question. Overnight lows in the upper-60s.

Sunday: Light to moderate rain in the morning. Becoming partly to mostly cloudy by the afternoon hours. Highs in the low-80s. Continued humid, with dewpoints in the low-70s. Overnight lows in the mid- to upper-60s.  

Monday: Partly to mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance for an overnight shower. Highs in the low-80s.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with a chance for a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be seasonable in the mid-80s. Overnight lows in the upper-60s.
