P! News at the Robin Hood Festival

P! News heads to Guilford and travels back in time.

The Robin Hood Springtime Festival wraps up this weekend, and P! News would be amiss if we didn't show you at least some of what you'll be missing if you don't get out there now. And for those of you Renaissance Faire first-timers, let Greg Nobile give you a sample of what to expect when you hit the tents.

From sword-swallowing to two-headed turtles, from dragons to Maypole dances, from traveling minstrels to other traveling minstrels, the Robin Hood Springtime Festival has it all, and P! News delivers it straight to your living room. Enjoy!

About this column: Because the people of Branford deserve to be interviewed like celebrities, we bring you P! News.

Hello! Glad to see Patch is visiting us at the Shire! We have been blogging on the Faire a few times now. If you can find us, Dolly Salvadore, the village artist and singer, and Columbina my daughter, the archeress, come say hello!!!;-). We will be there all day long and rain or shine!;-)

Sad news folks. We cast were just told the Faire will not open today, due to severe weather forecast. Good news is WE WILL be open tomorrow, Sunday!;-)

Awww, that's too bad, TPetro. Hope everyone gets out tomorrow... It really is a great time.

Isn't the democratic convention a Robin Hood Faire? Rob from the rich and give to the poor and all that.
