Branford Garden Club members, neighbors and relatives gathered Sunday, Sept. 9, to beautify and renovate a neglected traffic "Island" on Montgomery Parkway, Linden Shore District, Indian Neck. The project was led by Siria Volpato, an experienced landscaper. The club is hoping other small places in town will adopt the idea. The "Island" was also enhanced by a bench donated by the Welch Family in honor of Mom, MaryLou Welch. The bench has a lovely water view. Thank you all for your time and donations.
