Pubic Stargazing at Young's Pond Park

The Astronomical Society of New Haven is hosting a free family public viewing event on Saturday May 19th after sunset at Young's Pond Park in Branford. Telescopes will be pointed at Venus, Mars and Saturn with its rings. Members will also point out the constellations and satellites. ASNH can assist you with your telescope or binoculars, just bring them to the event. Dress for cool weather and bring mosquito repellant. For more information including directions and cancellation due to weather (including clouds), go to www.asnh.org or call 866-808-ASNH.
