Happy Friday, Branford! And an even happier Friday for all of Branford's students as they have next week off for April vacation? How will you be enjoying the time off?
Ever thought about getting a tattoo? Love animals? Transcend Tattoo and Art Gallery is offering $50 paw print tattoos (Paws for a Cause) with proceeds benefiting the East Haven Animal Shelter through Friday, April 19.

Celtic, Bluegrass and the some! Annalivia in concert at the Branford Folk Coffeehouse (First Congregational Church of Branford) at 8 p.m.
Sunday, April 14
Branford Restaurant Week begins on Sunday, April 14 and runs through Saturday, April 20, 2013. More than 25 restaurants are participating with prix fixe specials.
Looking Ahead
- Registration for the 2013-14 school year at St. Mary School is underway for pre-k (age 3) through grade 8. For information, call 203-488-5470 and ask for Sister Annette.
- Celebrate One Book One Town with Branford Early Childhood Collaborative as we hand out 1200 books to children across Branford.
- New England in Hollywood has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 18 at 7pm at the Blackstone Memorial Library.
- Music at Trinity: a Classical Concert Series is Friday, April 19.
- Yale-New Haven Hospital and Smilow Cancer Hospital will sponsor free mammography screenings for the community on Wednesday, April 24, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Community Dining Room.
- Dining out for Life will be held on April 25 at Assaggio Ristorante, G-Zen and Home Restaurant.
- There will be a Week of the Young Child Celebration on April 27.
- YMCA's Healthy Kids Day is April 27.
- THe St. Mary's Ladies Guild Fashion Show & Luncheon is April 28.
