Tabor Community Arts Center Accepting Applications for 2013-2014 School Year

The Tabor Community Arts Center (TCAC), located in Branford, is accepting enrollment for its After School Arts education program for the 2013-2014 school year. Applications will be accepted beginning in July and admissions will continue rolling through the winter. Tuition fees are based on a sliding scale and bus transportation to TCAC can be arranged for students within the Branford school system.

TCAC features after school arts programming for students in grades K-8.  TCAC provides classes focused on the creative arts, music, dance and drama. Rotating classes taught by visiting artists, writers and other professionals are part of the TCAC curriculum.

For students in grades K-4, TCAC programming is an introduction to a wide variety of arts education and provides a foundation for creative thinking and expression. Students in grades K-4 also stage a musical at the end of each school year.  For students in grades 5-8, TCAC offers them a chance to explore more challenging subjects like creative writing and the visual/performing arts.
