Joanna M. Leone, Connecticut author of Slices of  Life Italian-American Stories and Jared Schulefand, Owner and Operator of "Home", located in downtown Branford, announce a "Slices of Life Day" on Saturday, July 20th, 2013 from 12pm until 5pm.

Stroll down Main Street in Branford, take a relaxing summer walk in the refreshing breeze on Main Street and absorb the sights and sounds of the Summer Sidewalk Sale.  The local shops will have something for everyone to purchase outside of their shops that day.

Then, stop by "Home", have a refreshing glass of "Slices of Life" Sangria and chat with Joanna about her book, "Slices of Life Italian-American Stories."  Simply say "hello" or  open your heart and share one of your own special memories with her. At Jared's "Home" you will enjoy the comfortable atmosphere, excellent service, delicious food and rustic decor. You will feel like you are nestled in the green, Italian hillside.
