Fundraiser to benefit The Heather Diane Caraglio-Balcerzak Scholarship Fund

Please come help us to celebrate the life of Heather Diane Caraglio- Balcerzak.  Heather was a kind, compassionate and loving 14 year old girl who battled cardiac and pulmonary disease all her life.  While most children with her illness were home schooled, she was determined to have quality of life and went to school (with the assistance of an aide and a medical pump with medication being administered through an IV line in her chest 24 hours a day) all the way up until she was admitted to the hospital for her final time to wait for her new heart & lungs, which she received 7/4/2002.   However, Heather lost her battle for life on 8/1/2002.   Heather wanted to be a pediatric nurse all her life, so please help us to raise money for a scholarship fund that is awarded yearly to a deserving student graduating from the Branford High School.  If you are unable to attend, please consider sending a donation to:   Branford High School, ATTN:  Julie Sweeney, 185 Damascus Rd., Branford, CT  06405.  Make checks payable to:  The Heather Diane Caraglio-Balcerzak Scholarship Fund
