Having survived a punishing rookie season, (more about jousting with authority than delivering soup), we learned a lot about what our customers really want in a super soupservice!
Fridays – and bad weather days – are the days most people ordered soup. So, we’ll start by delivering before noon on Fridays, and will add additional delivery days as needed. When bad weather is expected, we’ll announce an additional delivery day on this page. We will be happy to provide special deliveries and on-site catering by prearrangement.
Many customers requested some kind of bread. Accordingly, we will offer a very fresh bakery roll at $1.00; with butter, $1.50. Tax included.
Of the 18 different soups we offered last season, the clear favorites were N.E. Clam Chowder, Lobster Bisque, Beef/Veg/Barley and Minestrone. Accordingly, for the moment, we will limit our menu to those selections, and will expand the menu based on interest.
Our delivery system and pricing seem right on target: Order via email, text or Facebook page. Call before Thursday 5:00 p.m., and we’ll guaranteed delivery by noon. Call before 9:00 a.m. on Friday, and we will try and fill your order, based on inventory and and that day’s delivery route.
We will continue to accept cash, personal checks, and credit/debit cards.
