Branford Rec: Bike Safety Rodeo to Take Place on April 27

The schedule of events in the rodeo includes: Bike Inspection, Road and Bike Trail Rules, Safety Bike Checks and a Bicycle Obstacle Challenge Course.

A complete and thorough Bike Safety Rodeo for children ages 4 to 10 will take place at the Branford Recreation Department on Sunday, April 27th, 2014 from noon to 2:00 p.m. 

The schedule of events in the rodeo includes: Bike Inspection, Road and Bike Trail Rules, Safety Bike Checks and a Bicycle Obstacle Challenge Course.

Scheduled activities will include Bike Safety and Equipment Checks, Riding Instruction and Rules and Safety, an Obstacle Course and Blessing of the Bikes.  

This event is sponsored by the Branford Recreation Department, the Branford Early Childhood Collaborative, The School Age Child Care , the Family Resource Center,  the Shoreline Greenway Trail, the Branford Police and Fire Departments and Zane's Cycles. 

Participants should bring their own bikes and helmets (non-motorized  bikes only).  Parents and Guardians will be required to sign a waiver form. 

Come join the fun activities for families and kids and for Free Raffles and Give-Always (Bike Helmets, Water Bottles, Safety Running Lights and much much more).
