“What Family Means To Me”

"My family means the whole world and blasting stars to me because I have a wonderful home and mom and dad. My mom and dad adopted me when I was 2 ½ and that makes me happy.

I’m glad they chose me for their little boy because they love me more than anything else. They tell me we are very rich and they’re not talking about money. My mom and dad are older than many parents because they already raised a daughter. They used to be foster parents to other kids and they had ten foster children. That means they took care of children whose parents were sick or couldn’t take care of them.

I was number 10!

Having a family now means I always have someone who loves me and cares about me. That even means sometimes I get time-outs or ‘No TV’ or WII. They sometimes tell me I can’t do things I want to or that I have to do my homework.

But that’s still worth it to have a family that loves me. That’s what a Family means to me – love and caring."
