Cadet Rachel Erin Willis, daughter of Mr. Terry Willis of Denver, CO and Mrs. Karen Leach Sconzo of White Plains, NY, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy on Saturday, May 26.
Willis graduated from Branford High School, Branford, CT in 2007. While at West Point, she concentrated her studies in Psychology. She was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army within the Air Defense Artillery branch and will report to Korea for her first assignment.
The mission of the U.S. Military Academy is to educate, train, and inspire the Corps of Cadets so that each graduate is a commissioned leader of character committed to the values of Duty, Honor, Country and prepared for a career of professional excellence and service to the Nation as an officer in the United States Army.
