Flora Aceto Zampano, 86

At home in Branford July 18, 2011, Flora Aceto Zampano of Rice Terrace, Branford.

She was born in Branford June 22, 1925, a daughter of the late Antonio and Mariantonia D'Onofrio Aceto. She was a lifelong resident of Branford and communicant of St. Mary Church.

She is survived by a daughter Vivian Cibelli of Guilford; a son Herbert J. Zampano, Jr. of Branford; a sister-in-law, Betty Aceto of Branford; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Joseph, Salvatore, Louis and Lindy Aceto, and sisters, Esther deLucia, Marie Lucian, Nancy Jacaruso, Angie Drobish and Virginia Olson.


Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial Mass of Christian Burial Friday morning at 10:00 in St. Mary Church, Branford. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery. THERE ARE NO CALLING HOURS.

rather harsh and does not mention Congress or that fact that any CEO expects their chain of commandRead More to do the job assigned. The events of the last few years, the endless wars, homeland terrorism etc. Not an easy time for any Commander -in Chief. When an article simply slams and does not balance with positive accomplishments, it is hard to see the readers point of view
