One dozen students took to the hill to learn about civics and to engage with local legislators. Twelve attended the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education-sponsored A Day on the Hill in Hartford yesterday. Students learned how pending legislation can impact school districts and they gained first-hand experience in civics. Activities included an education rally and a visit with legislators where students were able to talk about the impact of state education policy.
