Branford's third grade students across the district participated in Market Math at the Big Y this week. This parent/child event explored their classroom math concepts and applied them in "real world" activities.
I would like to send a huge thank you to our sponsors, The Branford Education Foundation and Mohegan Sun for donating cards and dice for the take-home goody bags. A very special thanks to the employees of the Big Y for making the event run smoothly! Thank you to the volunteers, girl scouts, PTA members and teachers who helped make Market Math so successful. And finally, thank you to the students who attended for being well-behaved, model students -- something all of Branford should be proud of!
