Community Update

If I could give negative stars I would. Over the past few years I have had several negative experiences with the quality of puppy that they sell there. When I was a young girl my parents got me a maltese puppy from there (mind you I had also worked there for 3 years- worst experience of my life) come to find out only a week after purchasing that he had kennel cough. We had to hand force feed him for months and spent over $5000 on him in vet bills. Fast forward five years. I am now currently dating someone who bought a siberian husky from there a year ago. Over the span of this year she had incredibly horrible bowl problems as well as incredibly small ear canals meaning she has an ear infection almost every other week- constant medication. Now we find out she is going blind. This is all a result from poor breeding and a lack of caring from the people who run it (owners Jerry and one other loony) as well as Mark the manager. They do not care about animals and it is very sad to see. When I was working there I had first hand experience at how the workers handle and treat the puppies. Let me say the majority are teenagers who dont have a clue. They put all the incredibly sick puppies into very tiny cages and basically ignore them until their "vet" comes in. That is ONE VET that is clearly a jerkoff who is paid to lie. He spend maybe 5 minutes with each dog if they are lucky. HOW DO YOU GIVE A DOG A FULL SCALE VIEWING IN FIVE MINUTES, oh wait that's right you can't. DO NOT GET A PUPPY FROM HERE, HE/SHE WILL BE INCREDIBLY SICK AND MAY EVEN DIE. Please, as someone who loves animals and who has worked at this place before, it just isn't right. By purchasing a dog here you are only perpetuating puppy mills. We are currently going after the PUPPY MILL who supplied the siberian huskies to this location. And yes, we have traveled to the puppy mill because we were curious and want to gather as much evidence as possible. The scenario there was absolutely horrifying. Everything you have seen and heard about puppy mills is true. DEAD DOGS EVERYWHERE- in there own shit, lying next to their dead brothers and sisters. It is a nightmare. The two gay men who own this chain will die a horrible death and rott in hell if there is one.
