Reaching Out to Help

How can we help the after last week's earthquake, tsunami and the ensuing crisis?

The situation in Japan, Hawaii, and along the West Coast is making headline news and assistance is needed. Every donation we make, no matter how small, will make a difference. Here are a few agencies already involved.

The American Red Cross

This organization is assessing and helping with many humanitarian needs in Japan, Hawaii and along the West Coast of the United States. To make a donation, go to www.redcross.org and give to Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami. You may also text REDCROSS to 90999 to donate $10 to give help to people in Japan and others throughout the Pacific who have been affected by the tsunami.

Debbie’s Daily Dose of Food for Thought

We all need help at one time or another. As you consider what you can do to, think about this quote by Edward Everett Hale, “I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do.” So, let’s each do something!
